AKAFUJI 10year Passport Cover

Passport cover designed by Eri Tsunoda which features one of the most famous landscapes of the Land of the Rising Sun.

The design is inspired by the masterpieces of Hokusai Katsushika, one of the most well-known Ukiyo-e artists of the Edo era and renowned globally, and in particular by his "Red Fuji" (Gaifu Kaisei). In the work, part of the collection "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" (Fugaku Sanjurokkei), Hokusai wants to capture the light of the rising sun that dyes the walls of the mountain red, hence the name "Akafuji".

In this nice gadget, the red of the passport will instead dye Mount Fuji scarlet, being incorporated into this timeless work.
