A collection of 75 tasty healthy recipes and ideas for seasonal activities, such as growing vegetables in small spaces, dyeing fabrics with natural products and original ideas for Christmas gifts. The book, divided into five chapters - breakfast, snacks, light lunches, complete dishes and desserts - is a hotbed of new flavors.
The recipes, mostly raw and vegan, were created by chef Solla Eiríksdóttir, who runs Gló, Iceland's hottest vegetarian restaurant in Reykjavík. They are a reflection of the diet she practices herself, based on healthy foods and with a high raw content, that is to say at least 50% raw plant foods. Each recipe is easy to follow and clearly marked with symbols indicating whether it is suitable for a dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free, raw-food or vegan-free diet.
