Seijin no hi (成 人 の 日, Seijin no hi) is a Japanese public holiday celebrating the coming of age. The celebration takes place on the second Monday of January and is dedicated to those who have reached the twenty years (二 十 歳 hatachi) in the year since April 2, or will celebrate them by April 1 of the current year.
