Have you ever wondered why in Japan- when it rains- you see a moltitude of transparent umbrellas?

During the rainy season, all Japanese people travel with an umbrella in their hand. The funniest thing is that the vast majority of them have the same umbrella: transparent plastic with a white handle.

The reason is simple: combini (a store which can be found everywhere, selling literally everything, from a water bottle to a tie - in case you forgot it at home -) sell these super cool plastic umbrellas. Therefore, when the rainy season begins, the simplest thing is to go to a combini, get an umbrella, use it for a month and throw it away.
