Among the objects that surround us there is always something that refers to Japan. In cooking, in ceramics, in the textile sector, in architecture, in gardening: techniques and brands from the archipelago are present in quantity everywhere, still today rich in artisan workshops and local productions.

After the typical kokeshi dolls, post-war transistors and video games of the last quarter of the 20th century, Japan began to export its products for practical use. Furthermore, this country has always attracted the interest of collectors: weapons, tsuba and armour, and then the action figures of the characters from the animation series sought after all over the world: a mine of small treasures.
