It was in 1998 that Louis Vuitton launched its first ready-to-wear collection. The success is extraordinary, supported by pioneering collaborations with artists of the caliber of Takashi Murakami, Richard Prince and Stephen Sprouse. To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of this creative vision, Louis Vuitton – Parades brings together for the first time all the collections of the Maison, from those conceived by its first artistic director Marc Jacobs (from 1998 to 2014) to those of Nicolas Ghesquière, currently at the head of women's ready-to-wear. Each collection, including the Cruise pre-collections, is extensively illustrated by iconic looks and detail images.
