Characteristics
- It is advisable to wet the chasen, before each use, in a cup of warm water for a few seconds to soften the bristles of the bamboo utensil.
- The bamboo wood will absorb moisture from the water and the bristles will become more flexible and less likely to break during the matcha green tea brewing stages.
- After use, place the chasen tool in the appropriate ceramic chasen holder. This will allow the tool to dry correctly as well as maintain the correct shape of the accessory.
- To clean the bamboo whisk, immerse it for a few seconds in warm water and rinse it in running water to remove any residues of matcha green tea.
- Being a delicate instrument, we strongly advise against placing it in the dishwasher.
