Prada fashion shows

Each monograph in the prestigious international Catwalks series is an editorial event. The works are created with the contribution of the individual maisons who open their archives for the occasion. "Prada - Fashion Shows" follows the previous volumes dedicated to Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint-Laurent. Here is the first complete overview of the women's collections from the fashion house's debut in 1988 to today, presented through original photographs of the fashion shows. Born in Milan in 1913 as a leather goods company, in 1979 the maison took a new path as soon as Miuccia Prada took over the leadership. In 1988, after having concentrated exclusively on accessories, the designer presented her first ready-to-wear collection, transforming the brand into one of the most innovative luxury brands of its time in just a few years, thanks to a personal, sophisticated and subtly subversive.
